New scholarship honors memory of Tom Loveridge

Tom Loveridge

Tom Loveridge, devoted colleague and friend, passed away on Feb. 6, 2012. Tom was part of the University of Utah community as a student for both his undergraduate and graduate degrees and then for over thirty years in administration. He was unwavering in his support of staff and was an invaluable member of Staff Council.

To honor his service and dedication, the University of Utah Staff Council has set up a memorial scholarship in his name. This scholarship for courses taught through the University of Utah will be awarded each semester to a full-time staff member who exemplifies the service and dedication that Tom personified.

Donations for this scholarship can be made here. Announcements of recipients will be in FYI News and on the Staff Council website.
