Finding your way around campus construction

The U’s facilities department is initiating a robust communications campaign to inform everyone about the various construction projects under way on campus. The new buildings and improvements to infrastructure will meet the growing needs of students, faculty and staff. There are several buildings under construction as well as repair projects to replace outdated infrastructure, so providing pedestrians and cyclists with good detour and way finding signs is a priority.

An improved campus construction impacts map, updated frequently, shows the areas on campus with construction projects in red. A new tab on the top menu bar of each FYI News page provides easy access to the map. You may also see it here. Click on the red areas to access a pop-up box with more information, including project start and end dates, and a link to a page with details on the project. A yellow symbol identifies areas where construction activities impact traffic. The University appreciates your patience as we continue to build foundations for a better U.
