This year marks the 13th Anniversary of the Holiday Open House at Red Butte Garden. The Orangerie will be filled with 19 local artists who have created an array of handmade gifts for sale including jewelry, pottery, fiber art, photography and more. At this one-day sale, held in the UMFA’s G. W. Anderson Family Great Hall, shoppers will find classic and contemporary hand-crafted items such as jewelry, pottery, textiles, paintings and photography, ceramics, fine edibles and more. Museum admission is free, and gift wrapping is complimentary. The Museum Store will also be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Parking is free, or visitors can easily access the museum on TRAX. The UMFA is a short walk northwest of the University South Campus stop on the University (red) line.

The University of Utah Faculty Club is pleased to invite all faculty and administrators to bring their children and grandchildren to participate in this year’s Children’s Holiday Party. The event will be held at the Moran Eye Center Auditorium (65 Mario Capecchi Drive.)
The evening, designed for children ages 4-12, includes the Balloon Granny, magician Ernie Flynn, crafts, photo booth, holiday food and treats. All this for $10 per family! University of Utah Faculty Club members are free. Due to size limitations however, reservations (with payment for non-members) must be made by everyone and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
